Bears Promoting Rookie WR Daniel Braverman

Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times reports that the Bears are promoting rookie WR Daniel Braverman to their active roster.

Chicago placed LB Danny Trevathan on injured reserve earlier today, so they won’t need to make a corresponding roster move.

Braverman, 23, was taken by the Bears in the seventh round of this year’s draft. He’s currently in the first year of his four-year, $2,419,396 contract and stands to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season.

During his college career at Western Michigan, Braverman caught 212 passes for 2,499 yards receiving and 19 touchdowns. He also contributed 312 kick return yards and 114 punt return yards.
