Bears QB Mitch Trubisky (Shoulder) Expected To Return In Week 13

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Bears QB Mitch Trubisky’s shoulder injury is just a one-week issue and if there are any issues next week, it will be related to a lack of strength.

Chase Daniel is in line to start for the Bears against the Lions, which makes sense given that they’re on a short week and he has a good feel for the team’s offense.

Trubisky, 24, is a former first-round pick of the Bears back in 2017. He’s in the second year of his four-year, $29 million contract that included a $19.17 million signing bonus and set to make base salaries of $892,238 and $152,156 over the next two years.

The contract includes a fifth-year option for the Bears to pick up in 2020.

In 2018, Trubisky has appeared in 10 games for the Bears and completed 65.4 percent of his passes for 2,469 yards, 20 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He has also rushed for 363 yards and three touchdowns.

We’ll have more regarding Trubisky as the news is available.
