Michael Bush’s Shoulder Is “Fine,” Will Play On Monday

Bears RB Michael Bush mentioned that his shoulder is “fine” and expects to play in Monday night’s game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Nothing’s wrong,” said Bush, per Vaughn McClure. “I’m good.”

Bush did say that his shoulder was a little banged up, which is why he ultimately sat out of the fourth quarter last weekend. Matt Forte has remote chance of being available, but it seems more likely that Kahlil Bell will backup Bush this weekend.

Vaughn McClure of the Chicago Tribune tweets that the “word is” Bears RB Michael Bush has a shoulder injury, but he wasn’t willing to confirm anything.

Bush wound up missing a good portion of the fourth quarter last weekend, but head coach Lovie Smith denied that Bush was dealing with an injury.

We have a lot of guys that got a little banged up as I said from the physical play of the game,” Smith said, via the Chicago Tribune. “We were playing Kahlil before that. Mike took some good shots. He came out one play on a hard hit but it was that type of game.”

Kahlil Bell finished off Sunday’s game against the Rams and could be in line for an expanded workload, should Bush be limited throughout the week.
