Bears Re-Sign CB Kevin Peterson

The Chicago Bears officially re-signed CB Kevin Peterson on Thursday after they waived CB K’Waun Williams with a failed physical designation.

Peterson, 22, wound up going undrafted out of Oklahoma State back in May before signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Bears. Unfortunately the Bears elected to waive Peterson, as they trimmed their roster down to 75 players ahead of Tuesday’s deadline.

During his four-year college career, Peterson recorded 143 tackles, five interceptions, 23 pass defenses and a fumble recovery over the course of 34 games.
