The Chicago Bears re-signed DL C.J. Wilson on Monday, according to his agency, Sports Trust Advisors.

Wilson, 29, is a former seventh-round pick of the Packers back in 2010. Wilson played out his rookie contract with Green Bay before signing on with the Raiders as an unrestricted free agent back in 2014.

Wilson was released by the Lions before signing on with the Saints in June of last year. He was, unfortunately, among the Saints’ roster cuts coming out of the preseason but caught on with the Bears a few weeks later and was on and off of their roster for most of the year.

In 2016, Wilson appeared in six games and recorded 13 tackles and a sack.
