Bears Re-Sign ERFA CB Bryce Callahan

The Chicago Bears have re-signed exclusive rights free agent CB Bryce Callahan on Wednesday, according to Aaron Wilson.

Callahan receives a one-year contract worth $615,000 for the 2017 season.

Callahan, 25, wound up signing on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Rice back in May of 2015. He was waived a few weeks into his rookie season and later signed him to the team’s practice squad before later being called up.

In 2016, Callahan appeared in 11 games for the Bears and recorded 32 tackles, no interceptions, and five pass defenses.
