Bears Re-Sign TE Rob Housler To A One-Year Deal

The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve re-signed TE Rob Housler to a one-year contract on Monday.

Housler, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Cardinals who played out his rookie contract with the team. The Browns wound up signing him to a one-year, $1.76 million contract back in April of lat year, but Cleveland wound up waiving him from I.R. in November.

The Bears later signed him to a contract in early December.

In 2015, Housler appeared in 10 games and recording four receptions for 33 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
