Bears Re-sign WR Earl Bennett To A Four-Year Deal

The Chicago Bears have announced that they have re-signed WR Earl Bennett to a four-year deal worth $18 million and includes $9 million in guarantees.

Bennett stepped up for the Bears during their best stretch of football but since Jay Cutler has gone down, he has seen his targets decrease. It’s only been one game but Caleb Hanie has been moving the ball around to other options like Roy Williams and Johnny Know.

Still the signing is a good move for Chicago as he’s only 24 years old and has demonstrated that he can be solid receiver for the team. The Bears still need a legitimate No. 1 receiver but Bennett should be a good option for the years to come.
