Bears Re-Signing CB Prince Amukamara To Three-Year, $27M Deal

Dan Graziano of ESPN reports that the Bears are re-signing veteran CB Prince Amukamara.

  • According to Graziano, Amukamara gets a three-year, $27 million contract from the Bears.

Amukamara, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Giants back in 2011. After five years with the Giants, Amukamara signed a one-year, $5 million contract with the Jaguars for the 2016 season.

Amukamara finished out that deal and agreed to another one-year deal with the Bears last year.

In 2017, Amukamara appeared in 14 games and recorded 48 tackles, no interceptions, a fumble recovery and seven pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 41 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
