Dan Wiederer reports that the Bears are re-signing LB Christian Jones to a one-year deal.
Jones, 26, wound up signing on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State back in 2014. He played out the final year of his three-year, $1.537 million rookie contract that included a base salary of $600,000 for the 2016 season and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
In 2016, Jones appeared in all 16 games for the Bears and recorded 16 tackles and a pass defense.
