Bears Release DE Jamaal Anderson

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Chicago Bears have released DE Jamaal Anderson.

Chicago signed Anderson a little over three weeks ago, following his release from the Cincinnati Bengals. This also marks the third time he has been released before his contract ran out.

The once promising rookie has seen his career depleted after a successive run of disappointing seasons ever since being drafted 8th overall by the Falcons back in 2007.

At 27, Anderson is grasping at straws as he unsuccessfully continues to remove his label as a bust. We’ll have to see if any team is willing to take a chance on him in the coming weeks.
