Bears Roster Cuts Including LB Mason Foster & TE Dante Rosario

Update:

Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears haveĀ informed veteran LB Mason Foster that they are terminating his contract, as they cut their roster down to 53 players.

The Bears have released or waived:

Foster, 26,Ā signed a one-year deal with the Bears back in March with the hope that he could solidify one of their interior linebacker spots. However, it appears as though things didn’t go as planned for him this summer.

Last year, Foster appeared inĀ 10 games and recorded 62 tackles and three pass defenses for the Buccaneers. Pro Football Focus has Foster rated as the No. 43 inside linebacker out of 60 qualifying players.
