Bears Sign CB Teddy Williams Off Cardinals’ Practice Squad

The Chicago Bears announced Wednesday that they have signed CB Teddy Williams off of the Cardinals’ practice squad.

Williams, 26, signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Texas-San Antonio back in 2010. He spent two years with Dallas before he was eventually placed on waivers and signed to the Colts’ practice squad.

Arizona signed him as a free agent and later stashed him on their practice squad.

Williams entered the NFL as a receiver, but the Cardinals converted him to cornerback earlier this year.

Last season, he appeared in three games and recorded a single tackle.
