Bears Re-Sign DT Mitch Unrein To A Two-Year Deal

The Chicago Bears have re-signed veteran DT Mitch Unrein to a two-year contract, according to his agency.

Unrein, 28, wound up signing on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Wyoming back in 2010. He lasted just a few months in Houston before he later signed on to the Broncos’ practice squad.

He spent four years in Denver before a brief stint with the Chargers and later joining the Bears midseason last year.

In 2015, Unrein appeared in all 16 games and recorded 19 tackles and a sack.
