Bears Sign Former Packers TE Justin Perillo To Practice Squad

The Chicago Bears announced Tuesday that they’ve signed TE Justin Perillo to their practice squad after he worked out for the team on Monday.

The Bears’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. LB Ronald Powell
  2. TE Rory Anderson (injured)
  3. RB David Cobb
  4. DB Jacoby Glenn
  5. OT Williams Poehls
  6. QB Josh Woodrum
  7. G Cyril Richardson
  8. WR Dres Anderson
  9. OT Lawrence Okoye
  10. DE Jimmy Staten
  11. TE Justin Perillo

Perillo, 25, wound up signing on with the Packers as an undrafted free agent out of Maine back in 2014. He was on and off of the team’s practice squad during his first two years with the Packers but managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason this year.

Green Bay, unfortunately, decided to waive him a few weeks ago to make room for LB Carl Bradford on the active roster.

In 2016, Perillo has appeared in eight games for the Packers and caught four passes for 35 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
