Bears Sign LB DeDe Lattimore To A Two-Year, $1.1M Extension

The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve signed LB DeDe Lattimore to a two-year contract extension on Friday.

Lattimore, 24, would have been an exclusive rights free agent in the coming weeks. He signed on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida back in May.

Coming out of the preseason, Lattimore was unable to make the 53-man roster and was later added to the team’s practice squad.

However, he would go on to appear in 10 games and recorded three tackles for the Bears in 2014.

  1. Hey bearfact,,,,sign me…hell I will make 20 ST tackles in 3 games and I come at half price…just 250,000 a season for 2 seasons! Then I can retire!

  2. It’s the league minimum for 2015 and 2016 and none of it is guaranteed. They make that offer and sign him only to keep his rights. He still has to make the team to collect any of it.
