Bears Sign OL Eben Britton

The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve signed OL Eben Britton to a one-year deal on Tuesday.

Britton, 25, spent the past four years with the Jacksonville Jaguars and wound up starting 30 games for them during this time. He recently worked out for the Seahawks, but apparently the Bears were his best option.

Last year, Britton was benched in favor of undrafted rookie Mike Brewster. He’s also dealt with injuries during his career in the NFL, so it’s likely that he’ll have to earn his roster spot during training camp.

nice signing! This guy has good potential and the fact that he’s 25 doesn’t hurt either

Didn’t work out so well for the Jaguars.
