Bears Sign QB David Fales To Practice Squad, Promote LB Jonathan Anderson

Jeff Dickerson reports that the Bears have re-signed QB David Fales to their practice squad on Wednesday.

  • The Bears also promoted LB Jonathan Anderson from their practice squad to their active roster.

Fales, 25, was taken in the sixth-round of last year’s NFL draft, even though the Bears said there was no way they would select a quarterback in the later rounds.

Fales was able to make the final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but he has been on and off the team’s practice squad since then.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
