Bears Sign RB Knile Davis

The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve signed veteran RB Knile Davis to a contract.

Davis, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2013. The Chiefs traded Davis to the Packers during the 2016 season, but he lasted just a few weeks in Green Bay.

David had a brief stint with the Jets before returning to the Chiefs at the end of the season. The Steelers signed him to a one-year contract last year but he was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

In 2016, Davis appeared in 11 games and rushed for 28 yards on 18 carries (2.5 YPC)  to go along with five receptions for 25 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also contributed 207 kick return yards on special teams.
