The Chicago Bears have signed RB/KR Raheem Mostert to their practice squad on Tuesday after he passed through waivers unclaimed, according to his agent Brett Tessler.
The Bears’ practice squad now consists of:
- CB Da’Vante Bausby
- WR Daniel Braverman
- FB Paul Kasike
- OL Cornelius Edison
- DB Demontre Hurst
- DE Jimmy Staten
- LB Ronald Powell
- OT Colin Kelly
- LB Jonathan Anderson
Mostert, 24, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Purdue back in May. However, he was unfortunately among the Eagles’ final roster cuts.
Mostert later caught on with the Dolphins and Ravens in brief stints before he was placed on waivers and later claimed by the Browns back in December of last year.
The Browns brought him back on a one-year, exclusive rights deal before cutting him loose a few weeks ago. After a brief stint with the Jets, the Bears signed him to their practice squad a few weeks ago before calling him soon after. Mostert was waived on Monday.
This season, Mostert has been active for two games but has yet to record a single statistic.
