Gary, 24, originally signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in May. However, he was unable to secure a spot on the Pats final 53-man roster and was placed on waivers.
Gary began his college career at Wyoming before transferring to Oklahoma State for the 2012 season. Over the course of his four-year college career, Cary recorded 311 tackles, seven tackles for a loss, six interceptions, and a forced fumble.
