Bears Sign Third-Round DL Jonathan Bullard To A Four-Year Deal

The Chicago Bears announced Monday that they’ve agreed to terms with third-round DL Jonathan Bullard.

Chicago has now signed their entire 2016 draft class ahead of minicamp.

Bullard, 22, was taken with the No. 72 overall pick by the Bears. Many believe the Bears got good value with Bullard in the third-round, so he’s an interesting player to keep an eye on this summer.

Bullard should be in the mix to compete for playing time at defensive end this summer along with Will Sutton, Ego Ferguson and Mitch Unrein.

According to OverTheCap.com, Bullard receives a four-year contract worth $3,166,520 to go along with a signing bonus of $826,520.

During his four-year college career at Florida, Bullard recorded 175 tackles, 34 tackles for a loss, 12 sack, and five pass deflections.
