Bears Sign WR Nathan Palmer To Practice Squad

The Chicago Bears are signing WR Nathan Palmer to their practice squad on Tuesday, according to his agent David Lee.

Chicago will need to release a player from their practice squad, as they’re already at their limit for players.

As of now, the Bears’ practice squad consists of:

  1. WR Nathan Palmer
  2. LB John Timu
  3. G Ryan Seymour (Exception)
  4. C Barrett Jones
  5. DT Brandon Dunn
  6. DB Bryce Callahan
  7. WR Deonte Thompson
  8. RB Paul Kasike
  9. LB Jonathan Anderson
  10. TE Gannon Sinclair
  11. WR Jalen Saunders (Exception/Injured)
  12. CB Jacoby Glenn

Palmer, 26, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Northern Illinois back in 2012. Since then, Palmer has played for the Colts, Broncos and most recently for the Patriots.

Palmer hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2012 season when he caught one pass for -4 yards receiving over the course of five games.
