Bears Signing Veteran OT Bradley Sowell

Josh Weinfuss of ESPN is reporting that the Bears have signed veteran OT Bradley Sowell to a one-year contract on Tuesday.

Sowell, 27, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi back in 2012. He lasted just a year in Tampa Bay before he was later signed off of their practice squad by the Colts.

Indianapolis placed him on waivers at the start of the 2013 season and he was later claimed by the Cardinals. After one year in Arizona, Sowell signed a one-year, $1.5 million contract with the Seahawks last March.

In 2016, Sowell appeared in 10 games for the Seahawks and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 74 offensive tackle out of 78 qualifying players.
