Bears Signing Veteran S Quintin Demps To Three-Year Deal

The Chicago Bears are signing veteran S Quintin Demps to a three-year contract, according to Aaron Wilson.

Demps, 31, is a former fourth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2008. He spent just over two years in Philadelphia before he was cut at the start of the 2010 season and later signed on with the Texans.

After that, Demps has played for the Chiefs and Giants before returning to the Texans in August of 2015. The Texans later brought him back on a one-year deal worth $1.5 million last year.

In 2016, Demps appeared in 13 games for the Texans and recorded 55 tackles, six interceptions, a forced fumble and nine pass defenses.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2017 Free Agents list.
