The Chicago Bears announced that they’ve signed WR Tre McBride and CB Doran Grant to their practice squad on Monday and released OT D.J. Tialavea from the unit.

The Bears’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OL Brandon Greene
  2. DL Rashaad Coward
  3. LB Isaiah Irving
  4. OL Cameron Lee
  5. TE Ben Braunecker (Exception)
  6. WR Mario Alford
  7. NT Mike Purcell
  8. WR Tanner Gentry
  9. WR Tre McBride
  10. CB Doran Grant

McBride, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Titans back in May of 2015 He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but was later signed to the team’s practice squad before later being promoted at the end of the year.

The Titans elected to cut McBride loose coming out of the preseason before signing him to their practice squad, and eventually promoting him to their active roster. After the Titans waived him coming out of the preseason, McBride was claimed off of waivers by the Bears.

Unfortunately, Chicago elected to cut him loose this past weekend.

In 2017, McBride has appeared in one game for the Bears but has yet to record a statistic.
