Bears Starting Kahlil Bell This Weekend?

Vaughan McClure of the Chicago Tribune writes that Kahlil Bell‘s 133 total yard performance on Sunday should be enough for the Bears to start him against the Packers on Christmas night.

Marion Barber has filled in for the injured Matt Forte but his overall performance has been overshadowed by two terrible mistakes that cost them a win over the Broncos last week.

Right now Chicago needs a small miracle to get into the playoffs and it seems very unlikely that the Bears would rush Jay Cutler and Forte back for a meaningless game.

It’s worth giving Bell a shot to see what they have in the young running back. Green Bay’s rush defense is pretty suspect and the Bears should be able to control the clock with the running game so Bell is worth consideration for teams that are in need of help at running back in their fantasy playoffs.
