Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears and Titans are two teams to keep close eye on for Broncos free agent LB Danny Trevathan.

Last we heard regarding Trevathan, Troy Renck of the Denver Post mentioned that the Bears are seen as the “front-runners” to sign Trevathan. However, the Falcons and Dolphins remain teams to watch in regards to Trevathan, given that he has ties to some of their coaches.

Trevathan, 25, was taken in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft by the Broncos. He’s in the final year of his four-year, $2,204,072 rookie contract and will be an unrestricted free agent this March.

In 2015, Trevathan appeared in 15 games for the Broncos and recorded 110 tackles, no sacks, two interceptions with one of them being returned for a touchdown and six pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 6 inside linebacker out of 60 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2016 Free Agents list.
