Bears Trying Out Three Players Including OL Tre’ Jackson

The Chicago Bears are bringing in three players for tryouts during their mandatory minicamp this week including OLĀ Tre’ Jackson, OL Collin Buchanan and WR Dominique Reed, per Zach Zaidman.

Jackson, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Patriots back in 2015. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2,803,740 contract and set to make a base salary of $615,000 for the 2017 season when the Patriots waived him a few months ago.

The Rams later claimed him off of waivers, but Jackson’s stay in Los Angeles was short-lived as he was once again cut loose just a few days later.

Jackson spent the entire 2016 season on the Patriots’ physically unable to perform list, due to a knee injury.
