Brad Biggs reports that the Bears will release FB Evan Rodriguez on Monday.

This comes shortly after reports indicated that Chicago had signed FB Tony Fiammetta to a contract.

Bears GM Phil Emery mentioned that he was “extremely” disappointed following his recent DUI arrest.

As for Fiammetta, he spent all of 2012 on the Patriots’ reserve/left squad list after he suffered was believed to be a concussion. Fiammetta, 26, has been pretty productive in the past, so this could end up being a quality move for the Bears.

Additionally, Chicago signed receivers Devin Aromashodu and Jerrell Jackson Monday while waiving receivers Demetrius Fields and Dale Moss.
