Bears Will Keep Lovie Smith As Their Head Coach

After the Chicago Bears decided to cut ties with Jerry Angelo, the man responsible for hiring Lovie Smith, the team has decided to announce that their next GM will not be hiring a new head coach.

Chicago gave Smith a two-year extension last season that will go through the 2013 season so that may have impacted the teams decision to keep Smith in place.

Things will not be any easier for Lovie as the team could end up replacing Mike Martz as their offensive coordinator. Expectations will be higher as the team showed a good amount of improvement before all the injuries happened. The big winner in the teams decision could be Matt Forte whom the Bears were reluctant to pay earlier in the season.
