Bears Work Out WR/KR Trindon Holliday

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Chicago Bears brought in veteran WR/KR Trindon Holliday for a work out on Tuesday.

This comes just a day after the Giants released from the injured reserve list.

There’s no question that Chicago could use some help at kicker returner and Holliday is by far the best available option on the market.

Holliday, 28, originally signed a one-year deal worth $700,000 with the Giants back in March, but he was placed on injured reserve over a month ago.

Holliday was an extremely productive kick returner since he signed with the Broncos two years ago. During this time, he’s totaled 1,327 kick return yards, 752 punt return yards and four touchdowns.

However, he’s had three fumbles and hasn’t been much of a contributor on offense outside of two receptions for 17 yards receiving. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 12 kick returner in the league last year.
