Bears Worked Out 4 CBs Including Blidi Wreh-Wilson & Darryl Morris

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Bears brought in four cornerbacks for workouts on Monday including Darryl Morris, Shaun Prater, Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Melvin White.

Wreh-Wilson has worked for a few teams in recent weeks including the Dolphins, Seahawks, Lions and Jets.

Wreh-Wilson, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Titans back in 2013. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2.937 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $731,305 for the 2016 season when he was waived a few weeks ago.

The Jets brought him in for a visit but did not sign him to a contract.

In 2015, Wreh-Wilson appeared in 10 games for the Titans and recorded 20 tackles, no interceptions, and three pass defenses.

Morris, 26, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Texas State back in 2013. He was on and off of their practice squad before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season and later claimed by the Texans.

Morris was in line to be a restricted free agent, but the Texans elected to not tender him an offer, which allowed him to sign on with the Jets back in March. Morris was unfortunate cut loose coming out of the preseason before signing on with the Colts.

Indianapolis just cut Morris loose last week.

In 2016, Morris has appeared in six games for the Colts and recorded 16 tackles, no interceptions, and a pass defense.
