Bears Worked Out 5 Players Including CB Nick Marshall

The Chicago Bears worked out five players on Monday including worked out 5 players including CB Nick Marshall, according to Howard Balzer.

The full list of tryouts for the Bears includes:

1. LB Max Valles
2. DB Dejuan Butler
3. C Anthony Fabiano
4. CB Nick Marshall
5. OT Justin Murray

Marshall, 25, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in 2015. He managed to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season but was waived a year later.

The Jaguars signed him to their practice squad before the start of the 2016 season before he later caught on with the Jets. New York waived him shortly after he was suspended for first four games of the 2017 season for violating league’s performance-enhancing substances policy.

In 2016, Marshall eight games and recorded five tackles and no sacks or interceptions, but contributed 228 kick return yards and another 39 punt return yards for the Jets.
