Bears Worked Out 3 Offensive Linemen Including OT James Brewer

ESPN Chicago’s Jeff Dickerson reports that the Bears brought in offensive linemen including Aaron Adams, James Brewer, and Martin Wallace for tryouts in recent days.

Brewer, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Giants back in 2012. He played out his four-year, $2,477,092 rookie contract with Giants before signing a one-year deal with the Jets back in March.

Unfortunately for Brewer, he was among the team’s first round of roster cuts before the start of the regular season, and hasn’t found much reported interest since then.

Last year, Brewer was limited to appearing in just two games and played a total of 53 snaps in 2014.
