Bears Working Out Veteran CB Sterling Moore

According to Jane Slater, the Bears are bringing in veteran CB Sterling Moore for a workout next week.

Moore, 28, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Methodist back in 2011. However, he lasted just a few months in Oakland before he was waived a few weeks into his rookie season.

Moore bounced around a bit with the Patriots, Cowboys, Buccaneers and before signing a one-year contract with the Saints right before the start of the 2016 regular season. Moore returned to the Saints on a one-year, $900,000 last year and was on and off of their roster throughout the season.

The Lions signed Moore to a contract during the preseason before releasing him soon after.

In 2017, Moore appeared in six games for the Saints and recorded five tackles, a forced fumble and two pass defenses.
