Bears WR Jalen Saunders & OL Tayo Fabuluje Suspended 4 Games

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Bears practice squad WR Jalen Saunders has been suspended four games for violating one of the league’s policies.

This comes just hours after the Bears announced that rookie G/T Tayo Fabuluje had been suspended four games for violating the league’s PED policy.

Saunders, 22, is a former fourth-round pick of the Jets back in 2014. Since entering the league, Saunders has already played for four teams, so his career hasn’t gotten off to a great start.

The Saints signed him off of the Seahawks’ practice squad in November of last year, but was later traded ot the Patriots for a conditional 2018 seventh-round pick. He lasted just four days in New England before he was waived.

Chicago signed him to their practice squad at the start of the season.

In 2014, Saunders appeared in nine games, but caught just one pass for seven yards, while contributing 245 total punt and kick return yards for the Saints.
