Bengals Worked Out 9 Players Including DE Wallace Gilberry & DT Jordan Hill

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Bengals also worked DE Wallace Gilberry, DT Jordan Hill, and TE Justice Cunningham on Wednesday.

Gilberry, 31, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama back in 2008. He lasted just a few months in New York before being signed off of their practice squad by the Chiefs.

Gilberry later caught on with the Buccaneers in 2012 before signing with the Bengals during the 2012 season. Cincinnati elected to bring him back on a three-year deal in 2013. The Lions signed him to a contract back in April before placing him on injured reserve.

Detroit waived him with an injury settlement last month.

In 2016, Gilberry has appeared in four games and recorded four tackles and no sacks for the Lions.

Hill, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2013. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2.76 million contract and set to make a base salary of $675,000 for the 2016 season.

The Seahawks waived Hill with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve list. Seattle cut him loose la few weeks ago.

In 2015, Hill appeared in 10 games for the Seahawks and recorded 24 tackles, a fumble recovery and a pass defense.
