Bengals Designate CB Davontae Harris To Return From Injured Reserve

The Cincinnati Bengals announced Wednesday that they’ve designated CB Davontae Harris to return from injured reserve.

This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Bengals to add him to their active roster or he would revert back to injured reserve.

Harris, 23, was selected in the third round of this year’s draft by the Bengals. He agreed to a four-year, $2,748,576 contract with the Bengals and stands to make a base salary of $480,000 for the 2018 season.

The Bengals placed Harris on injured reserve coming out of the preseason with a knee injury.

During his college career at Illinois State, Harris recorded 208 tackles, four interceptions, three sacks, and 39 pass defenses over the course of four years.
