Bengals Re-Sign RFA LB Emmanuel Lamur

Update:

The Cincinnati Bengals announced Wednesday that restricted free agent LB Emmanuel Lamur has signed his second-round tender.

———-

Field Yates of ESPN is reporting that the Bengals have tender restricted free agent LB Emmanuel Lamur at the second-round level.

This means would pay him a salary of $2.356 million for the 2015 season if/when he signs the tender.

Because Lamur is a restricted free agent, he could wait and see if there are any teams interested in making him a better offer in the coming weeks.

Lamur, 25, signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State back in 2012.

Last year, Lamur appeared in 14 games and recorded 92 tackles, two interceptions and seven pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 39 linebacker in a 4-3 defense out of 40 qualifying players in 2014.
