Rapoport mentions that Gresham’s potential availability is due to the return of second-year TE Tyler Eifert, who is scheduled to come off of injured reserve in the coming weeks.
Gresham, 26, has been a disappointment since the Bengals used the No. 21 overall pick on him back in 2010. He’s in the final year of his rookie contract and he’ll be an unrestricted free agent following the year, so he could be available for a decent price if the Bengals are in fact willing to move him.
Over the course of five games this season, Gresham has caught 14 passes for 129 yards and no touchdowns.
