Bengals May Look To Retain CB Adam Jones

Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com expects the Bengals to meet with the representatives for CB Adam Jones at this year’s Scouting Combine.

Jones, 29, is coming off of very solid season for the Bengals in which he recorded 40 tackles, 9 defended passes, 1 forced fumble, and even 1 sack. Pro Football Focus rated Jones as the No. 11 best cornerback in the league last year.

Cincinnati signed Jones back in 2010, despite numerous off-the-field issues. Retaining Jones could not only be cost effective, but also ensuring that they have some added depth at corner. Jones has also been effective as the team’s kicker return.

We have Jones listed as the No. 90 best available player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
