Bengals Place OT Andre Smith On IR, Sign OT Justin Murray Off Saints’ PS

The Cincinnati Bengals announced Wednesday that they’ve placed veteran OT Andre Smith on injured reserve and signed OT Justin Murray off of the Saints’ practice squad.

• The Bengals also signed LB Connor Harris to their practice squad.

The Bengals’ practice squad now consists of:

4. TE Scott Orndoff
5. CB Sojourn Shelton
6. LB Carl Bradford
7. S Robenson Therezie
8. OT Javarius Leamon

Smith, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2009. After seven years in Cincinnati, Smith signed a one-year, $3.5 million contract with the Vikings back in March of last year.

Smith later returned to the Bengals this past March on a one-year, $3.25 million contract. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent again next year.

In 2017, Smith appeared in 13 games for the Bengals.
