Bengals Place RB Cedric Peerman On Non-Football Injury List

The Cincinnati Bengals announced Friday that they’ve placed RB Cedric Peerman on the Non-Football Injury list and WR Monty Madaris on the PUP list.

The Bengals can activate them at any time from either list once they’re healthy and ready to practice.

Peerman, 30, is a former sixth-round pick of the Ravens back in 2009. He lasted just a few months in Baltimore before he was waived and later claimed by the Browns. Peerman would later catch on with the Lions before eventually being claimed off of waivers by the Bengals in 2010.

Peerman played out the final year of a two-year, $2.13 million contract before returning to the Bengals this past March on a one-year, $1.15-million contract.

In 2016, Peerman appeared in six games for the Bengals and rushed for 15 yards on six carries (2.5 YPC) and no touchdowns while contributing on special teams.
