Bengals Place WR Jake Kumerow On Injured Reserve

The Cincinnati Bengals officially placed WR Jake Kumerow on the injured reserve list Thursday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.

Kumerow, 25, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Wisconsin-Whitewater back in 2015. He bounced on and off the team’s practice squad before being called up to the active roster in December of last year.

He was, unfortunately, waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the team’s practice squad.

Cincinnati elected to bring Kumerow back on a future/reserve contract last January he wound up being added to their practice squad at the start of the season. The Bengals promoted Kumerow to their active roster toward the end of the season.

Kumerow has yet to appear in an NFL game.
