Bengals Prepared To Start Andy Dalton?

Cincinnati Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis discussed the teams quarterback position during a radio interview by saying that, “there’s no question when we selected Andy Dalton we selected him with that in mind that he’d possibly be our opening-day starting quarterback.

Lewis went on to say that he’s “understand(s)” and has “accept(ed)” that Carson Palmer will not back with the team for the 2011 season.

The Bengals are in need of solid veteran quarterback to pair with Dalton. Several options such as Matt Hasselbeck, Kerry Collins, Marc Bulger and Donovan McNabb will most likely be available for them to consider.
