Bengals Promote LB Trevor Roach & WR Jake Kumerow To Active Roster

The Cincinnati Bengals announced Tuesday that they’ve promoted LB Trevor Roach and WR Jake Kumerow to their active roster.

Roach, 24, wound up signing on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Nebraska back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason last year but was later signed to their active roster before being promoted in January.

Roach is currently in the second year of his three-year, $1.425 million contract and set to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season when he was waived a few weeks into the regular season. The Bengals later signed him to their practice squad at the start of October.

In 2016, Roach has been active for three games but has yet to record a single statistic.
