The Cincinnati Bengals announced Tuesday that they’ve re-signed CB Tony McRae to their practice squad.
The Bengals’ practice squad now consists of:
- DE Ryan Brown
- HB Tra Carson
- DT David Dean
- WR Jake Kumerow
- G Trey Hopkins
- G Alex Redmond
- WR Alonzo Russell
- LB Paul Dawson
- LB Trevor Roach
- CB Tony McRae
McRae, 23, wound up signing on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina A&T back in May. However, he, unfortunately, lasted less than a week in Oakland before he was waived.
The Bengals signed him to a contract close to a month ago before later cutting him loose coming out of the preseason. Cincinnati signed McRae to their practice squad a day later. McRae was released from the unit a few weeks into the regular season.
During his college career at North Carolina A&T, McRae recorded 87 solo tackles, 57 unassisted tackles, six interceptions and 23 pass defenses. He also totaled 995 kick return yards and two touchdowns on 41 attempts.
