The Bengals are signing DE Wallace Gilberry on Friday, according to his agency.

Gilberry, 32, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Alabama back in 2008. He lasted just a few months in New York before being signed off of their practice squad by the Chiefs.

After a brief stint with the Buccaneers, the Bengals signed him during the 2012 season and elected to bring him back on a three-year deal the following year. The Lions later signed him to a contract back in April of last year before placing him on injured reserve.

Detroit waived him with an injury settlement in October and he wound finish out the year with the Bengals.

In 2016, Gilberry appeared in nine games and recorded 14 tackles and 2.5 sacks for the Lions and Bengals.
