Bengals Re-Sign Head Coach Marvin Lewis To A Two-Year Extension

The Cincinnati Bengals have announced that they’ve re-signed head coach Marvin Lewis to a two-year contract extension.

Cincy has locked Lewis, DC Mike Zimmer and OC Jay Gruden through the 2014 season.

“It adds to the continuity of the team,” said Lewis, per Jason La Canfora.

Lewis’ career record with the team is only 69-77-1, but the fact that he led the Bengals to the post season last year with a rookie quarterback, in a shortened season, despite losing their best player on defense, was surprising to say the least.
